Santa Barbara Shellfish Company is literally the last restaurant on Stearns Wharf. We tried to come here the first night we got in town, but the tiny shack was so packed we decided to come back later. We ended up going on a Thursday right at 5 and were easily able to get one of the few outside seats with an amazing view of the water. On special that night they had Dungeness crab from San Fransisco and local Rock crab. We decided to stay local. The crab was super fresh and amazingly tasty...no need for butter with such sweet, good crab meat. If you're ever in the area, I definitely recommend this place, but plan to get there early or count on a wait.
